History

Alex first crossed paths with his co-founder, Nicolas Degiorgis, at Rappi. The two were drawn to each other by their shared passion for technology and their desire to make a difference in the world. The idea for Allie came about during the pandemic when she noticed that factories were still relying on paper and pencil for basic statistics like efficiency and machine monitoring. Recognizing the opportunity to unite industrial data and offer a simplified dashboard experience for factory operators and managers.

As a company with a deep technical culture, Allie has developed proprietary technology in-house from day one, building all of its infrastructure, machine learning models and features with a team of full-time engineers based in our technology center in Buenos Aires.
